Jag är en 28-årig skidskytt född och uppvuxen i det lilla norrbottniska samhället Arvidsjaur tillsammans med mina föräldrar samt lillebror. Numera är jag dock bosatt i grannlandet i väst sen ett år tillbaka, närmare bestämt i Oslo. På vägen hit har jag bland annat hunnit med tre år vid skidskyttegymnasiet i Sollefteå samt åtta år i Östersund där jag hunnit utbilda mig till fastighetsmäklare och tagit en kandidatexamen i ekonomi. Jag har under min uppväxt testat på de flesta sporter men fastnade alltså för skidskyttet och målet för kommande säsong är VM på min favoritbana i Anterselva.

I am a 28-year-old biathlete born and raised in a little village in the north of Sweden named Arvidsjaur where aI grew up together with my parents and little brother. Now I am living in Norway and Oslo since one year ago. But before that I was living three years in Sollefteå where I went to a skigymnasium and after that I spent eight years in Östersund getting some education. This resulted in a bachelor in Economics and a license as a real-estate agent. During my young years I tried a lot of different sports but finally it was biathlon that I really fell for. The goal for the upcoming season is to compete at the World Championships in Anterselva.

Results

Som junior har jag många meriter från flera mästerskap bland annat vann jag Ungdoms-OS, har två silvermedaljer från Junior-VM på hemmaplan i Torsby och ett brons från Junior-VM i Nove Mesto. Under förra säsongen gjorde jag min bästa säsong som senior och kom på tog hela tre segrar i IBU-cupen och en totalseger i Supersprintcupen. Jag har deltagit vid tre stycken VM och fem EM och har som bäst en 20:e plats under VM i Holmenkollen. I stafett har jag varit med och tagit två sjätteplatser och en femteplats på Världscupen. Utöver detta har jag åtta stycken SM-guld, 20 SM-medaljer och två totalsegrar i Sverige-Cupen. Målet är nu att ta nästa steg och kunna prestera på den nivå jag gjorde på IBU-cupen under förra året även på Världscupen.

As a junior I have a lot of good results from several Junior Championships and one of them was winning the Youth Olympic Games where I managed to finish first. Other than that I have two silver medals from the home Junior World Champs in Torsby and a bronze from the Junior World champs in Nove Mesto. Last season I did my best as a senior and managed to win three races and claim the win in the Supersprint cup last season. I participated in three World Championships and five European Championships where a 20th place in Holmenkollen is my best place at the World Champs. In the World-cup relays I was once in the mix-team that finish 5th last season and twice we where number 6. Other than this I have 8 golds at Swedish champs, 20 medals at Swedish champs and two victories in the Swedish cup total. The goal next is to try to bring my level from last years IBU-cup to World-cup.
